What is Analytics?

Analytics allows companies to answer cultural questions based on empirical data. They can leverage recognition, rewards, and feedback activity to see engagement insights and trends.

  • Deeper Insights with Analytics Report Export: Leverage the analytics report to dig deeper into company activity and engagement trends.

  • Empower Managers with Analytics: Provide managers with analytics specific to their teams and sub-teams.

  • Filter by Groups and Segments: Filter recognition, rewards, and survey data by specific criteria to better understand various demographics, trends, department/team performance, etc.

How Analytics Works

Analytics Access

Matter Owners and Admins are able to track Matter team members' usage and participation through the analytics dashboard in the web app.

Analytics Report Export

To get further analytical insights, we recommend downloading the advanced analytics report Excel export. The analytics report is ideal for looking at company-wide stats around recognition and reward data, individual member activity and performance, along with insights into kudos sent and kudos types (i.e., company values).

Analytics Filters

Analytical filters are ideal for drilling down into data to better understand performance based on departments/teams, demographics, trends, etc. There are three types of analytical filters.

  • Member Segments: Use segments to analyze data according to Member Properties.

  • Member Groups: Create and manage groups, sub-groups, and group managers.

  • Channels: Available only on Enterprise Grid.

Analytics for Managers

Within Member Groups, you can assign group manager(s). These group manager(s) have access to the analytics of those user group(s). This allows managers to view the performance of their specific group (e.g., department/team) without needing Matter Admin permissions.
