New hires get onboarding surveys as a Matter message in Slack or Microsoft Teams showing the title, the anonymity setting, and any coin reward, and click Start Survey to answer.
Who can use this: Workspace Owners and Admins on any paid plan with the Surveys add on, or on any plan during the free trial.

How to Preview Onboarding Surveys
Open the Web App.
Click Surveys Manager in the navigation menu, then Onboarding Surveys.
In the Survey Library section, edit one of the four default templates or click the New Survey button in the upper-right corner.
In the Survey Builder (Edit, then Builder), in the lower right, click Preview in Slack/Teams. A test survey will be sent to your account in Slack/Teams.
Survey Experience in Slack
When a new hire receives an onboarding survey, they’ll get a Slack notification from Matter with:
The survey title and description
A statement about the anonymity setting (Anonymous or Attributed)
The reward (if coins are enabled)
They can click Start Survey to respond directly in Slack. After completion, they receive confirmation, and coins (if applicable) are added to their balance.
Survey Experience in Microsoft Teams
When a new hire receives an onboarding survey, they’ll get a Teams notification from Matter with:
The survey title and description
A statement about the anonymity setting (Anonymous or Attributed)
The reward (if coins are enabled)
They can click Start Survey to respond in the Matter web app. After completion, they receive confirmation, and coins (if applicable) are added to their balance.
