After connecting your HRIS to Matter, you can manage the integration through various options available on the HRIS configuration page.

Configuration Options

  • Start Sync Now: Initiate an immediate sync of your HRIS data with Matter. This option is useful if you want to sync your data immediately rather than waiting for the automatic 24-hour sync cycle.

  • View Sync History: Access a log file of your sync history, which lists out the successes, warnings, and failures of each sync attempt. This log helps you track the sync status and troubleshoot any issues.

  • Reconnect HRIS: Use this option to reconnect your HRIS if your credentials have changed or if there was a connection issue. This allows you to re-establish the link without losing any previous configurations.

  • Disconnect HRIS: Select this option if you have switched HRIS providers or no longer wish to sync data. You can then connect a new HRIS as needed.

Standard Fields Synced from Your HRIS to Matter

Matter imports the following standard fields from your HRIS, considering the HRIS as the source of truth for all of these fields. These fields are used for celebrations including birthdays and work anniversaries:

  • Date of Birth

  • Hire Date

These fields ensure that Matter has accurate and up-to-date information to recognize and celebrate important employee milestones.

With these configurations, Matter will use the synced HRIS data to automatically create and manage celebration events, ensuring timely and accurate employee recognition.
