How to access the Matter Web App Dashboard

Get to the Matter web app from Slack, Microsoft Teams, or the regular browser to customize settings, redeem coins for rewards, and much more!

The Matter Web App Dashboard gives both admins and members quick access to key tools from any browser. Admins can manage workspace settings, surveys, and more, while members can redeem coins for rewards and check their activity history.

Who Can Access the Web App?

All Matter users can access and use the web app. Available features depend on each user’s permission level.

Admins can access and manage:

  • Workspace settings (company values, birthdays and work anniversaries, coins and rewards, challenges, etc.)

  • Surveys (Pulse, Onboarding, and Custom Surveys)

  • Analytics and reporting

  • Member permissions

  • Billing and subscription

  • HRIS integration

Managers can use the web app to:

  • View analytics history for their team

  • Access Pulse Survey results for their team

Members can use the web app to:

  • View their kudos activity history

  • Use the rewards store to redeem coins for rewards

  • Manage their celebration dates

  • View challenges and submit claims

Access Web App from Slack

  1. In Slack, go to Apps > MatterBot.

  2. Inside the Home tab, click the Go to Matter Dashboard button. Once clicked your browser will open to the web app.

Note: Clicking "Redeem Reward" will also take you to the web app.

Access Web App from Microsoft Teams

  1. In Microsoft Teams, go to your Matter-connected channel.

  2. Click the Matter tab at the top.

  3. Inside the Home tab, click the Go to Matter Dashboard button. Once clicked your browser will open to the web app.

Note: Clicking "Redeem Reward" will also take you to the web app.

Access Web App from Matterapp.com

  1. Click Sign In in the upper right.

  2. Sign in using Slack or Microsoft Teams.

  3. Once signed in, you'll be automatically redirected to the web app.
