To get started, we recommend watching our Matter Installation for Teams video guide. There are two parts to the installation:
Adding Matter to a Teams Channel
Installing and Pinning the Matter App for Everyone
A few important installation notes:
You can install Matter into a public/private team and a public channel, but not a private channel. This is due to Microsoft Teams restrictions.
Some organizations may have app installation restrictions. If this is the case, you'll need to contact your IT Administrator or Team Owner to install Matter. Additionally, you can refer to our Installation Support Guide.
If you'd like help, it's best to schedule your Teams Onboarding call.
