Matter

Matter Challenges reward a specific action: Admins announce it in Slack or Microsoft Teams, members claim with evidence, Award Managers approve the coins.

Challenges Guide

Award Managers approve or decline challenge claims in the Matter app chat in Slack or Microsoft Teams, or in the web app. Declined claims need a reason.

Approving or declining a challenge claim

Submit a challenge claim in the web app: under Challenges, click Claim, write a Claim Explanation of 3+ characters and, if required, add a file up to 2MB.

Submitting a challenge claim

Once a challenge is active, Award Managers get a direct message with a Share Challenge button to announce it in your Slack or Microsoft Teams channel.

Sharing a challenge

Create a challenge in the web app under Awards Manager, Challenges: add details and coins, set evidence and claim limits, pick Award Managers and dates.

Creating a challenge

Turning on Challenges preloads editable examples such as a 10k Step Challenge, Complete Security Training, Give 3 Kudos This Week, and Volunteer 30 Minutes.

Default challenge examples

Download the Challenges report as an .XLSX from Awards Manager, Reports in the web app, with each challenge, its coin value, and every claim's status.

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.

Prototype integrations answer

In this prototype demo, invite teammates from workspace settings, then choose the access each teammate needs before sending the invitation.

Prototype invite-team answer

This prototype demo does not have a scripted answer for that question yet. Try asking how to invite your team or open a source article. No production Fin API was called.
