When creating a challenge, Award Manager(s) are assigned in the challenge configuration by a Matter admin. Award Manager(s) assigned to the challenge have the ability to approve or decline a challenge claim.
Depending on the challenge configuration settings, Award Manager(s) will typically have two options to approve or decline a challenge claim. These options will be directly in Slack/Teams in a direct message from Matter or within the Web App.
Approving or Declining a Challenge Claim in Slack/Teams
Inside Slack or Teams, go to the Matter app chat.
Click Approve or Decline on the challenge claim.
If approved, the challenge claimer will be notified and, if configured, rewarded with coins.
If denied, the challenge reviewer will need to provide a reason for the claim denial.
Approving or Declining a Challenge Claim in the Web App
Open the Web App.
Go to Awards Manager, then the Challenges section.
In the Challenge Claims section, under the Pending table, click β to approve or β to decline the claim. You can view the claim details by clicking view details.
