Overview

At Matter, we understand that the experience of the recipients taking the Employee Surveys is just as important as the data collected. This guide outlines how people receive and interact with Employee Surveys through Matter in Slack or Microsoft Teams, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the process.

Survey Notification and Timing

Members are sent a notification from Matter at the day and time you configure when setting up your Employee Survey. You have full control over when your survey launches, allowing you to choose the most effective time to reach your members, whether it's to coincide with the end of a project or at a specific time of day for maximum engagement.

Anonymity Setting Communication

It's crucial for members to understand the level of anonymity of the survey they are participating in. The survey anonymity setting is made clear in the initial notification—whether the survey is Anonymous (the default setting) or Attributed. This transparency helps members feel secure in the knowledge of how their responses will be treated, which can influence their willingness to provide honest and thoughtful feedback.

Matter Coin Rewards

If Matter Rewards has been enabled for your Employee Survey, the potential for earning Matter Coins is communicated clearly in the survey invitation. This immediate notification of the reward system not only serves to increase interest and participation but also enhances engagement by providing an incentive. After respondents complete the survey, they receive a notification confirming that they have earned the reward, and the Matter Coins are then added to their account.

This comprehensive approach to the member experience ensures that participants are well-informed about the survey details and any incentives, leading to higher engagement and more valuable feedback for your organization.
