Overview

Enhancing survey participation and improving response rates can be significantly influenced by incentivizing respondents. Matter's Employee Surveys are seamlessly integrated with the Matter Rewards platform, which enables administrators to offer Matter coins as rewards for survey completion. This guide details how to enable Employee Survey rewards and explains the recipient experience.

Enabling Rewards

Eligibility

Only workspace administrators can set up rewards for survey completion. This feature is available if you are an admin and Matter Rewards is enabled within your organization.

How to Enable Rewards

When creating an Employee Survey, the option to enable rewards is available in the final step of the Survey Form Builder, labeled "Wrap Up." Here, administrators can choose to offer Matter coins as an incentive for completing the survey.

Default Settings

The default setting offers 20 Matter Coins per completed survey, which is equivalent to 2 USD. Administrators have the flexibility to adjust the amount of Matter Coins offered based on the survey's needs and the desired level of encouragement for participation.

Recipient Experience

Notification of Reward

When recipients receive an employee survey invitation via Matter on Slack or Microsoft Teams, they are immediately informed about the Matter Coin reward for completion. This notification ensures that potential respondents are aware of the incentive from the outset.

Receiving the Reward

The Matter Coins are awarded to the respondents only after they have completed the survey as required. This condition ensures that participants provide the necessary feedback to qualify for the reward, thereby fostering genuine and thoughtful responses.

By integrating rewards into your Employee Surveys, you can leverage the Matter Rewards platform to not only increase participation rates but also to enhance the quality and timeliness of the feedback received. This approach has been shown to increase participation rates and response times by 35%, making it a valuable strategy for gathering important insights.
