Each birthday and work anniversary will be celebrated with an image. Matter provides three different options based on your preference. Options can be different or the same for birthdays and work anniversaries. For example, you can use the image URL library for birthdays and the custom image upload for work anniversaries.
Celebration Image Options
Matter Template: Matter's default option. If uploaded, the profile pictures from Slack and Microsoft Teams will be used in the celebration message. If not uploaded, the template will be truncated.
Custom Image Upload: This uploaded image will be used for all celebrations of the respective type. This is ideal for company-branded assets.
Image URLs: Add up to 10 image URLs. Matter will randomly select when delivering the celebration. We recommend using Giphy.com when searching for celebration images.
Changing Celebration Images
Go to the Web App.
Go to Settings, then the Celebrations section.
In the respective Birthday and Work Anniversary section, select the dropdown under the Birthday Banner Experience and change to your preferred option.
Custom Image Upload: Image sizes need to be less than 2MB.
Image URLs: Image sizes need to be less than 2MB.
Click Save to finalize setting changes.
