Turn birthday or work anniversary celebrations off or on in the web app under Settings, Celebrations: open Birthdays or Work Anniversaries and click Disable or Enable.
Who can use this: Workspace Owners and Admins on the Basic plan and above, or on any plan during the free trial. Works the same for Slack and Microsoft Teams workspaces.

If you want to disable or enable celebrations for birthdays or work anniversaries in Matter, follow these simple steps:
How to Disable and Enable Birthday and Work Anniversary Celebration Messages
Open the Web App.
Go to Settings, then the Celebrations section.
Click either Birthdays or Work Anniversaries. Each page has a Disable button at the top.
To disable either one or both, click Disable. This stops the automatic celebration messages for the selected option(s).
To turn a celebration back on, open its page and click Enable. Both buttons apply your change right away.
