Choose how you would like to be recognized on your birthday and/or work anniversary. By default, celebrations are automatically set to "Celebrate Publicly (Recommended)".
You can select from one of the three following options for each celebration:
Celebrate Publicly (Recommended)
Celebrate Privately
Do Not Celebrate
With the "Celebrate Publicly" option, team members will see a public message in their Matter-connected channel from Matter with their coin rewards.
With the "Celebrate Privately" option, team members will be sent a private direct message from Matter with their coin rewards.
With the "Do Not Celebrate" option, team members not be sent any message (publicly or privately) and will not receive any coin rewards.
Adjusting Celebration Visibility via Bulk Excel Upload
Open the Web App.
Go to Channel Settings, then to Celebrations settings.
In column I (anniversary) and column J (birthday) click the cell and select from the following dropdown option:
public
private
disabled
Save the file and upload the Excel file in the Celebrations settings.
Then hit Save.
Adjusting Celebration Visibility via Individual User
Open the Web App.
Go to Account Settings, then the Celebrations tab.
Select the appropriate drop-down option based on your preference.
Then hit Save.
