Adding emojis to kudos

Add emojis to kudos in Slack or Microsoft Teams with emoji shortcuts (fn + e on Mac, Windows key + period), or paste them from a chat draft or Emojipedia.

You can add emojis to a kudos message in Slack or Microsoft Teams, such as 🎉 🙌 👏 ⭐ 🏆 ❤️ 🚀 or your company's own custom Slackmoji: type or paste them into the message box of the kudos modal. "Slackmoji" and Teams emoji culture is important for some companies.

Ways to Include Emojis in Your Kudos Message

  1. Type out the message inside a Slack or Teams chat window (e.g., draft to yourself). Then copy and paste the message into the message section of the kudos modal.

  2. Use Emoji shortcuts:

    1. Mac: fn + e

    2. Windows: Windows logo key + . (period)

  3. Copy and paste emojis from Emojipedia into the kudos modal.

Note: Not all emojis are supported at this time.
