Overview

Understanding the responses to your surveys is crucial for making informed decisions. Matter provides a real-time results dashboard to ensure that you can access and analyze survey data efficiently. Below, we detail how to view and download the results of your employee surveys.

Accessing Results

You can view the results of any survey at any time by navigating to the Surveys tab in the Matter Web App. Simply click on the survey whose results you want to see.

Real-Time Updates

Survey results are updated in real-time. If you have not disabled notifications, as a survey creator, you will receive instant updates from Matter on Slack or Microsoft Teams whenever new survey results are submitted. This feature ensures that you are always aware of the latest feedback without having to manually check.

Viewing Options

Matter offers two primary ways to view survey responses:

  1. Summary by Question: This view aggregates the data and provides a summary for each question, making it easy to assess general trends and patterns in the responses.

  2. Individual Submissions: If you need to view responses on an individual basis, this option allows you to do so. For attributed surveys, the respondent's name will be shown alongside their answers, which is useful for follow-up or detailed analysis.

Downloading Employee Survey Results

At any point, you can download the latest results of your surveys by clicking the "Download Report (.XLSX)" button. This option allows you to export the data into an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis or record-keeping. The download will include all the details from both the summary and individual response views, depending on your survey's anonymity settings.

By leveraging these viewing and downloading options, you can effectively monitor and analyze the feedback from your employee surveys, enabling you to make well-informed decisions based on up-to-date survey data.
