How you uninstall Matter from Microsoft Teams depends on whether you want to keep the team and channel: delete them and Matter goes with them, or keep them and remove only Matter, from Manage your apps in Teams or from the web app. Either way, you are removing the web app workspace Matter created and connected to your channel when it was installed.

Before you uninstall
Billing stops. Removing Matter cancels your paid subscription straight away and you are not billed again; there is no separate cancellation step. Enterprise contracts are handled through your account contact. If you only want to stop paying but keep your history, use the cancellation form and move to the Free plan instead. Your team loses access to its history. Uninstalling closes the Matter workspace, so your team will no longer see its kudos, celebrations, coin balances, or pending reward requests. Approve or decline pending requests and export your reports first if you want a record. Moving rather than leaving? To keep Matter but use a different channel, transfer it. To move between Slack and Microsoft Teams, Matter can migrate your workspace with its history. Too many messages? Option 1: Delete Matter And Delete Teams Team/Channel
Click "..." next to the desired Team/Channel and hit Delete Team/Channel.
Option 2: Delete Matter, But Keep Teams Team/Channel (From Teams)
Inside Teams, go to Apps.
Then Manage Your Apps.
Click the arrow to all the channels Matter is connected to.
Select the trash can next to the appropriate channel.
Option 3: Delete Matter, But Keep Teams Team/Channel (From Web App)
Go to the Web App.
Go to Settings > General.
Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Matter.
Note: This option will only be available to Workspace Owners (who created the Matter workspace).
You'll receive an email with a link and brief instructions to remove Matter from the Teams channel. Follow those instructions, and Matter will be deleted.
Important Note: The Teams channel will NOT be deleted, only Matter will be removed from the channel.
