During your Matter setup, you will select which team and channel within your Microsoft Teams organization you would like to use Matter with.

Matter will connect to this channel to use as the designated place for all Feedback Friday messages, kudos, etc.

All members of the selected team(s) and the respective channel(s) will be able to access and use all Matter features. In other words, simply add team members to a channel and team via the default method of Microsoft Teams.

You can connect Matter to multiple channels in your team, and multiple teams in your organization.

Note: Microsoft Teams Hierarchy = Organization > Team > Channel

Option 1: Add Team Members Directly to the Team

  1. Select the desired team.

  2. Click ... and in the drop-down select Add member.

  3. Type in the name or group and hit the Add button.

Option 2: Add Team Members from Team Settings

  1. Select the desired team.

  2. Click ... and in the drop-down select Manage team.

  3. Click the Add member button.

  4. Type in the name or group and hit the Add button.
