How are rewards billed?

Rewards are billed at face value. Prepay by ACH or wire has no fee, prepaying by card adds 3.5%, and Pay As You Go charges your card 5% plus $0.35 per reward; Monetary Options add 4%.

Who can use this: Workspace Owners and Admins on the Pro and Enterprise plans, or on any plan during the free trial. Works the same for Slack and Microsoft Teams workspaces.

Matter supports both billing methods so you can choose what works best for your finance and budgeting needs.

Prepay lets you load funds into your Matter rewards account ahead of time. Rewards are automatically deducted from your balance as they’re approved.

Prefer to pay per reward instead of loading funds? Pay-As-You-Go charges your credit card each time a reward is approved.

Pay as you go by card: 5% + $0.35 per transaction.

Best for: Teams that want flexibility without managing a balance.

A small processing fee is included to cover the actual costs associated with credit card transactions, including payment processing fees from card networks and fraud protection. These ensure we can continue to offer a seamless, secure, and global rewards experience, even without requiring a balance.
