As a Microsoft Teams admin, you can control which users in your organization are allowed to add Matter to Teams channels β all directly from the Microsoft Teams Admin Center. This helps you manage deployment, maintain security, and ensure that only approved users can install Matter.
Edit Teams Admin Center Install Availability
Go to the Microsoft Teams admin center.
In the left-hand navigation, go to Teams apps β Manage apps.
Search for Matter and click into the app.
Go to the tab Users and groups.
Adjust the availability to your preferences. Options include:
Everyone: Everyone can install and use this app, including people in my org, guests, and external users.
Specific users or groups: Only selected users and groups can install and use this app.
No one: Nobody can install or use this app.
Once changes have been made, click Apply to save your changes.
