Overview

Matter’s Employee Surveys offer flexible settings that allow you to control both who sends the survey and who receives it. This guide explains the options available while creating an Employee Survey under Audience Settings, ensuring that your surveys reach the right people in the most appropriate manner.

Survey Sender

When setting up an Employee Survey, you can specify the sender’s identity, which influences how respondents perceive the survey:

  • My Organization: Choose this option to have the survey appear as being sent from the organization. This is ideal for company-wide topics or in large organizations where the sender might not be personally known to all employees. It lends an official tone to the survey, reinforcing its importance and neutrality.

  • Specific Person: If the survey is targeted to a specific team or department or if the organization is relatively small, you might opt to have the survey sent from a specific individual. This can make the survey feel more personalized and direct, which might be more engaging for the recipients.

Survey Recipients

Employee Surveys allow you to tailor the recipient list to ensure that your survey reaches the intended audience:

  • Entire Organization: Select this option to send your survey to everyone in your organization. This is suitable for broad topics such as organizational surveys, company-wide events, or general feedback requests.

  • Specific Individuals: For more focused feedback, you can choose to send your survey to specific individuals within your organization. This is particularly useful for targeted feedback collection, such as department-specific topics or feedback from participants in a particular project or event.

By carefully selecting both the sender and the recipients of your survey, you can enhance the relevance and effectiveness of the feedback you collect. These settings not only help in customizing the distribution of your employee surveys but also play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and utility of the insights you gain.
