Matter's free trial lasts 14 days and includes every feature, in Slack or Microsoft Teams, with no payment method needed. If you don't upgrade, your workspace moves to the Free plan and keeps kudos and Feedback Friday; reward approvals wait until you add a payment method.

It's simple: we don't require any payment information for the free trial. The one thing that waits for a payment method is reward approvals: members can earn coins and request rewards during the trial, and you approve them once you upgrade.
At any time during the free trial, you can add a payment method to upgrade and keep using Matter past the free trial. You will be notified when your trial is coming to an end.
Note: If a free trial ends, you'll be automatically moved to our free plan, which keeps kudos and Feedback Friday. Your team's information (kudos, feedback, etc.) stays saved inside the Matter-connected Slack/Teams channel and web app, and you can still add a payment method at any time to upgrade.
