The most valuable participant of Feedback Friday is determined at random by Matter.

Matter will generally select the individual that either “gave” or “received” the most kudos/feedback, but it could be anyone who has given or received a kudos during the Feedback Friday frequency (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).

An extra check will be done to make sure no team member is the most valuable participant 2x in the last 5 Feedback Friday recaps.

From user feedback, Matter randomizes the Feedback Friday Most Valuable Participant recipient to ensure that it's not the same person being selected each week, subsequently lowering kudos engagement.

Additionally, you can exclude specific members from receiving the Most Valuable Participant.
