By default, Matter uses the name from your Slack or Microsoft Teams connected account. You can update this information in the respective platform settings.
Name change may take up to 24 hours to be reflected in Matter.
Change Matter User Name in Slack
Open Slack Workspace Home.
Go to Manage Members, select the User, and click "..." option.
Click Edit Profile.
Update the Full Name and then click Save.

Change Matter User Name in Microsoft Teams
Go to Users, then All Users, and select the User.
Click Edit Properties.
In the Identity section, update the Display Name, First Name, and Last Name, and then click Save.
Important Note: Matter uses the Display Name as the default name. If the Display Name is blank, we'll use the First Name and Last Name as a backup.
